Erland was once again invited back to The Fessenden School campus, this time in collaboration with Imai Keller Moore and Lenore Design – Architecture and Interior Design, for a series of exciting summer renovations. The project updated various areas of the school, including Hyde Hall and faculty housing across the campus, covering over 7,600 square feet. As part of the renovation, Erland updated two kitchens and several restrooms, which encompassed the installation of new countertops and cabinets. Additional enhancements involved painting various spaces, upgrading HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems, and installing new flooring, lighting, and millwork throughout each area. One of the paramount considerations throughout this endeavor was the minimization of disruptions to The Fessenden School’s ongoing summer programs. Recognizing the importance of maintaining an active campus, Erland meticulously planned and executed each phase of the project with utmost care and precision, ensuring that students, campers, and staff could continue their activities without interference.
