Erland provided construction management services for a library expansion and renovation on the campus of this prominent all girls school. Elements of historic restoration were done to very exacting standards as the original building, and the NCDS campus itself, are protected under the National Historic Standards. The construction site was adjacent to the school’s athletic fields, which remained in use throughout the project’s duration. The new library has two levels with accessibility from the basement and the first floor of the main building. The interior finishes of the addition are high end and the exterior masonry was designed to match the school’s existing stonework.
