Safety is more than a priority. It’s a shared responsibility that unites every employee-owner, trade partner, and client in protecting what matters most: our people.
Let's Work TogetherEvery project comes with unique risks, from occupied buildings to tight urban sites. At Erland, proactive planning, clear communication, and a culture of shared responsibility ensure work moves forward efficiently—while every worker, visitor, and occupant stays protected:
On active campuses and in occupied facilities, safety is non-negotiable. We plan around daily routines, maintain clear communication, and put controls in place to protect everyone while keeping the project on track.
Without proactive planning and communication, even minor oversights can compromise worker, visitor, or occupant safety.
When every team member, from field crews to leadership, owns safety, incidents are prevented before they happen.
Continuous training, inspections, and programs like AGC MA’s CARE Program ensure work moves forward efficiently while everyone goes home safely.

Construction is complex, and lapses in safety can lead to incidents, delays, and added risk. Strong planning protects people, keeps projects on track, and builds trust.
At Erland, safety is part of every decision. We focus on prevention, empowering everyone to speak up and stop work when needed.
As members of the AGC MA CARE Program, our Safety Committee, in-house officers, and field leaders reinforce planning, training, and communication—fostering a culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Our Solution
Safety starts in preconstruction, where we develop site-specific plans that identify risks early and set clear expectations for safe, efficient work from day one.
All team members and trade partners complete the AGC MA CARE orientation and project-specific safety training.
Our superintendents lead daily huddles and toolbox talks to align teams on the day’s work, potential hazards, and mitigation strategies—while fostering a culture where every employee-owner and trade partner is empowered to speak up, stop work, and take action to maintain a safe environment.
Our in-house Safety Officers conduct routine inspections, audits, and coaching to ensure compliance and reinforce best practices—while capturing and sharing lessons learned through our Safety Committee to strengthen future planning and performance.
