The project included a new 93,820sf field house (pre-engineered metal building) with basketball/volleyball courts, an indoor track, and a climbing wall; a 47,840sf addition to the wellness center; and a 18,900sf addition to the athletic training/ exercise science complex. Erland completed this job two months ahead of schedule to accommodate the start of the fall semester. Erland began by performing a series of utility relocations during the summer months to limit the impact on the college’s fall sports schedule. The field house is located adjacent to the football field, which remained in use during construction.
