Erland Construction was selected as construction manager to complete Fay School’s master plan in several phases. Phase 1 was completed in less than a year, and included construction of two new dormitories, a maintenance building, and a wastewater treatment facility. In addition to a Wellness Center, phase 2 of the master plan included the construction of this new 35,000sf steel and wood-frame primary school building. It serves pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, and grades one and two. This building marked a significant change for Fay School, as they were able to expand their student body to include Pre-K and Kindergarten classes. The new primary school building contains classrooms, a library, a lunchroom, a multipurpose/physical education facility, and an outdoor playground. It earned LEED Silver certification.
