Erland began this project by preparing a pad to support a temporary Kindergarten classroom and then demolishing the existing Kindergarten building. In its place, we constructed a 9,000sf, 2-story addition to the Lower School building, which accommodates both Pre-K and Kindergarten on the first floor and houses specialty music and reading rooms on the second floor. Once the addition was complete, we renovated 9,200sf of the current Lower School and tied the two structures together. The renovation included adding resilient flooring, acoustical wall treatments, and improved lighting. This phase yielded modernized classrooms, offices, and toilet rooms for school programs through Grade 5.
