ISO New England has partnered with Erland Construction, in collaboration with Northstar Project & Real Estate Services and Interior Architects, to construct a new 78,500-square-foot office building on its Holyoke, Massachusetts campus. The new facility will provide additional office space to support ISO New England’s growing workforce and strengthen its ability to carry out its critical role of ensuring the reliable operation of New England’s bulk electric power system and wholesale electricity markets.
The project consists of the ground-up construction of a highly coordinated, mission-critical office building designed to support ISO New England’s operational needs. The new all-electric, LEED-certified building will be used in part for training and visitor meetings and will help address ISO New England’s current office capacity constraints and improve campus security.
Given the complexity of the building systems, early planning and coordination are essential to the project’s success. Through a proactive and detail-driven approach, Erland is working closely with the project team to deliver a high-performance facility that meets ISO New England’s operational requirements while creating a modern, efficient workplace environment.
