Erland teamed with SGA to renovate the key areas of this 415,000 square foot office building to bring greater vitality and energy for the building’s tenants. The major scope of the project involved the complete demolition and reconstruction of the building’s kitchen and servery to appeal to the latest trends in food prep, cuisine and service. In addition, Erland renovated the large high-bay cafeteria with new banquet seating, high-top tables, decorative lighting, large screen TVs and acoustical treatments to dampen the noise. The existing fitness center was refurbished with new rubber flooring, a new glass wall facing the corridor with privacy film and new LED lighting. The building’s facade was also updated to enhance its visibility along Baker Ave. The property is conveniently located in the center of four of greater Boston’s most affluent residential communities and is in the same office park as a medical office building that Erland built in 2013.
