Capstone Development Partners has once again partnered with Erland Construction—this time in collaboration with Elkus Manfredi Architects—to deliver Pachyderm Place, a transformative new residential development at Tufts University. Located along Boston Avenue in Medford, MA, the 271,000-square-foot project features two 10-story residence halls with 271 apartment-style units designed to house 664 upper-division students. The buildings will also include approximately 4,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and nearly 12,000 square feet of student amenities. Developed through a Public-Private Partnership and designed to meet Passive House standards, the all-electric complex reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, affordability, and community connection. This marks Erland’s second collaboration with Capstone.
