Building people, partnerships, and a better tomorrow.

Since 1977, Erland has been driven by the belief that great buildings—and great relationships—are created through shared knowledge, collaboration, and ownership.

Let's Work Together

Why we exist.

Construction is a craft rooted in understanding—of people, of purpose, and of possibility. For five decades, we’ve approached every project as a chance to listen deeply, think critically, and guide our clients and partners with clarity and confidence.

Our Mission

Developing and empowering our people to deliver outstanding construction management services through a collaborative and rewarding experience that results in successful projects, long-term relationships, and real value.

Our Vision

To be the construction firm of choice—leveraging experience, knowledge, and innovation to anticipate and fulfill the evolving needs of our clients, our people, and our industry.

Employee Ownership

Ownership shapes our thinking. Commitment shapes our work.

Employee ownership is more than a structure at Erland—it’s a mindset that encourages curiosity, responsibility, and long-term thinking. When everyone has a stake in the outcome, the work becomes more meaningful, the collaboration more genuine, and the solutions more thoughtful.
How Employee Ownership
strengthens our culture:
  • It inspires people to lead from where they are.
  • It nurtures accountability and pride in every task.
  • It encourages decisions that prioritize enduring success over short-term wins.
  • It fosters a culture where insight is shared and every voice has value.
How Employee Ownership
benefits our clients:
  • Employee-owners think critically about cost, risk, and constructability.
  • They communicate early and often.
  • They protect budgets and schedules as if the project were their own.
  • They bring consistency, continuity, and a long-term lens to every phase.

Ownership creates outcomes that stand the test of time—because they’re built by people who are fully invested.

Diversity & Inclusion

Strength in perspective. Respect in practice.

A diverse team brings richer ideas, stronger solutions, and deeper understanding—and that ultimately makes our work better. Erland is committed to fostering an environment where every person is respected, supported, and heard.

Our commitments include:

Our DE&I Program: Expanding awareness, elevating diverse perspectives, and ensuring our culture remains fair, equitable, and inclusive.

Industry Engagement: Actively participating in initiatives like Women in Construction Week and workforce development partnerships to broaden access to the AEC industry.

Cultivating Respect: As a signatory to AGC’s Culture of CARE, we reinforce a workplace free from harassment, hazing, and bullying—where safety and dignity are non-negotiable.

For us, inclusion is not an initiative—it’s the foundation for collaboration, innovation, and shared success.

Community Involvement

Building beyond the jobsite.

Our responsibility extends past the projects we build. For decades, Erland has invested time, resources, and expertise into strengthening the communities we serve.

Erland Foundation

Established in 2016, the Erland Foundation amplifies our team’s deep sense of caring by supporting organizations that improve lives across our region. Through fundraising, partnerships, and volunteerism, we’ve contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to causes focused on education, health, and community well-being.

History

Five decades of integrity.

From our founding in 1977 to our 50th anniversary in 2027, our history is defined by steady growth, trusted relationships, and a commitment to doing the right thing.

Erland began with a simple belief: that trusted relationships, honest communication, and technical expertise create better outcomes for everyone involved. Over the years, that belief has shaped who we are and how we work. It has guided our expansion across market sectors, strengthened our partnerships, and inspired a culture centered around learning, collaboration, and ownership.

As we prepare for the next 50 years, we remain committed to the same principles that built our foundation—while embracing new innovations, new challenges, and new opportunities to serve our clients and community.
