Training
Erland believes in training as a way to help employees stay current and reach their peak potential. Training programs encompass OSHA required 10- and 30-hour programs; CPR and First Aid; Management and Leadership Skills; Communications; and Customer Service. Recent in-house courses have included prep for LEED certification exam, tutorials in building information modeling software, and recent developments in construction means and methods. |

Mentoring
Erland's formal mentoring program pairs senior and junior personnel to enhance individual development.
OSHA Safety Training
All Erland employees are required to attain OSHA 10-Hour Certification. Consistent with that, Erland regularly sponsors OSHA 10-Hour Safety Courses for its employees. The OSHA 30-Hour Safety Course is encouraged for all employees and has been completed by the Safety Director and all Field Superintendents, as well as several others at all levels of the company.
