Construction Management
We serve as a
member of the project team from the earliest days,
working with the design team to analyze the
constructability of design options and provide cost
estimates before firm decisions have been made.
This arrangement helps to ensure that both time and
money are spent on developing feasible, affordable
plans. It may also save time in ordering items with
long lead times.
General Contracting
We get involved with the
project after Construction Documents are far enough
along to allow for development of a lump sum bid.
We then serve as the single point of responsibility
for selecting the subcontractors, buying the job, and
managing the work.
Program Management
We are sometimes invited
to be involved with a project from its earliest
conception, serving in an advisory capacity as
decisions are made on what the facility is to include
and how it is intended to function.
Design/Build
We are hired first by the Owner and
we then hire the architect, accepting full responsibility
for all aspects of the project. This arrangement saves
time because some construction activities can be
started, and long lead items ordered, before drawings
are fully developed. |
